Switzerland: Geneva City Walk

June 1, 2015 ---- Nathan and I were in Geneva twice. The first time was when we were on our way to Lyon and changed the train there, and we decided to spend three hours strolling in the city. A few days later, we came back and spent about 5-6 hours visiting some churches, monuments, and a museum.  We didn't have a particular plan how to spent the time in the city, but we were glad to just stop by and didn't spend a night there because the hotels/hostels were so expensive.

To me, Geneva seems bigger and more cosmopolitan than Zurich, but Zurich is actually the largest city in Switzerland. There are a lot of free museums in Geneva, but most of them close on Monday, which was unfortunately the day we were there. So what we did there was just strolling around... Luckily it is a beautiful city!
